SPOC Collective presents

A shared home,
for a shared life.

A multi-generational community taking shape in the Sahyadri hills between Pune and Lonavala — built by choice, with structure, not just nostalgia.

See it before you meet it in person.

A short film that walks you through the idea, the land, and the life we're building — in its own voice, unhurried.

Why build a space like this?

Somewhere between the joint family many of us grew up in and the apartment we live in now, something quietly disappeared. Parents raise children without grandparents close by. Grandparents grow old without daily company. The friendships that once lived on the same street now live mostly on a phone screen.

We don't think anyone planned it this way — it's what happens when cities, careers and convenience are optimised for, one decision at a time, without anyone designing for togetherness. So we started with a simpler, harder question: what would it actually take to build one shared home where different generations, and different families, could live near each other again — by choice, with structure, not just nostalgia?

Saanjha Ghar is a multi-generational, values-aligned community we're building in the Sahyadri foothills between Pune and Lonavala — close enough for a weekend, far enough to breathe. It isn't a housing project you invest in and exit. It's a lifelong membership in a shared home — families living on shared land, growing a portion of their own food, sharing responsibility for the place and for each other. Every resident holds a real responsibility to the community, and once it's real, we intend to open-source what we learn so others can build their own version of it.
